Job title: Picker / Packer
Contract: Temporary (12-week contract from mid-November 2024 until mid-January 2025). Working 6 days per week
Hours: Monday to Friday (2pm – 10pm) and Saturday or Sunday (8am - 5pm)
Rate: £11.44ph
Location: Hillington Industrial Estate
Duties:
* Pack picked items securely into boxes, ensuring proper protection for items to avoid damage during shipping.
* Label boxes with appropriate shipping and tracking information.
* Ensure that packed orders meet quality standards and customer specifications.
* Prepare packed items for shipping by sealing, labelling, and organizing shipments according to specified methods (e.g., courier, freight).
* Operate packaging equipment such as tape guns, bubble wrap machines, or shrink wrap systems.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
* Happy to work on a temporary contract
* Able to work 6 days per week
* Able to commute to Hillington Industrial Estate for the specified hours
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
