Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Groundworker Rake Hand with a Class 2 (Category C) licence to join our team. The role involves assisting in various groundwork projects, particularly in asphalt and tarmac operations, while also being responsible for driving and operating Class 2 vehicles when required.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing and raking materials such as tarmac and asphalt to the correct levels and finishes.

*

Assisting with groundworks, including drainage, kerbing, concreting, and other related tasks.

*

Operating hand and power tools safely and effectively.

*

Driving and operating Class 2 vehicles to transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.

*

Supporting machine operators and other team members on-site.

*

Ensuring work is completed to high safety and quality standards.

*

Following health and safety regulations and company procedures.

Requirements:

*

Previous experience as a Groundworker/Rake Hand, particularly in tarmac or surfacing.

*

Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence with a valid CPC and tachograph card.

*

Experience using rakes, screeds, and compacting equipment.

*

Knowledge of site safety and construction industry regulations.

*

Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.

*

Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

*

CSCS card (preferred but not essential).
