Job Title: CNC Operator / Programmer
Location: Thetford
Salary: £20,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
 
Shift Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 08:00 to 16:30
Friday: 08:00 to 15:30  
Overtime Opportunities:

Available based on work output and quality
Overtime may include earlier starts, later finishes, and occasional Saturday mornings  
Job Description:
We are seeking experienced and trainee CNC Operators and Programmers to join our clients team. As a CNC Operator and Programmer, you will be responsible for the operation and programming of Mazak machines. While experience with Mazak machines is preferred, it is not a requirement. Training will be given to junior roles, however some CNC experience would be required.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machines according to job specifications
Program CNC machines using Mazak-specific programming language if training and previous experience allows
Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
Perform routine maintenance on machines as needed
Troubleshoot and resolve machine errors or malfunctions
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times  
Requirements:

Experience as a CNC Operator / Programmer
Proficiency in programming CNC machines
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Excellent problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
