Job role: The Parts Advisor is a key point of contact for customers and the workshop in relation to parts, stock availability and pricing.

Location: Winchester

Hours: 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday

Working as a part of a busy team you will be a key point of contact for customers and the workshop in relation to parts, stock availability and pricing. You will have excellent attention to detail and enjoy dealing with a range of numerical and technical information.

The Parts Advisor role involves:

* Serving customers at the counter, looking up parts details and pricing jobs for the workshop

* Liaising with suppliers and placing accurate orders

* Reviewing current stock levels and forward planning regarding parts and stock availability

* Dealing with Invoices, deliveries and updating the database with information regarding stock and parts

* Demonstrating a good quality of accurate work with excellent attention to detail

* Able to assimilate information and numerical data

* Liaising with leading brand suppliers to ensure that the workshop has the relevant parts available for repair and servicing of machinery

* Purchasing and negotiating prices in relation to both ongoing and adhoc requirements

My client are looking for someone with proven experience in a similar role, a loyal approach to their career, excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.

The hours are from 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, the company offer free onsite parking, 20 days holiday plus 8 x bank holidays, a pension and staff discount. The salary advertised is broad to include the core hours and overtime potential. Your own transport would be ideal as they are based on the outskirts of Winchester.
