Lloyd Recruitment Services are working with a well-established, family run business in Saltdean that are currently seeking an experienced Part Time Bookkeeper, who has a background working within accounts in the construction or building industry.
* Part Time Bookkeeper
* Location: Saltdean
* Hourly rate: £16 - £18 per hour
* Working Hours: 20 - 24 hours per week, Monday to Friday (flexible on days)
* Hybrid working opportunities after probation
Key Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper:
* Overseeing daily income and expenditure transactions
* Performing bank and credit card reconciliations
* Preparing VAT returns and CIS monthly returns
* Administering weekly PAYE payroll and managing pension contributions
* Maintaining accurate financial records up to trial balance level and managing journal entries
Required Experience:
* Previous experience with accounts / bookkeeping
* Proficiency with Sage Online Accounting/Payroll or Sage 50 Accounts/Sage 50 Payroll desirable
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
* Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle financial discrepancies
