This role is essential for developing and delivering comprehensive transport strategies that will shape the future mobility landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing and delivering area-based transport studies, including marketing, communication, and engagement
Creating transport strategies, such as the clients Transport Strategy and contributing to the development of the WYLTP
Contributing to the development of Mass Transit and the Southern Gateway
Conducting strategic transport modelling
Developing schemes, including business case development and input
Supporting the development of the Local Plan
Providing public transport advice on bus services, quality contracts, rail service and station development, and MRT development
Offering transport policy input to planning applications

Job Requirements:

Extensive experience in transportation planning
Strong understanding of strategic transport modelling
Proven ability to develop and deliver transport strategies and schemes
Excellent communication and engagement skills
Ability to provide coherent transport policy input to planning applications
Experience in supporting the development of local plans
