Environmental Health Officer (EHO) - Food Safety required for an immediate start!
Opus People Solutions on behalf of North Northamptonshire Council are looking for an Environmental Health Officer (Food Safety) to join their team on a 12 week contract.
The successful candidate will be required to work across North Northamptonshire Council area (Wellingborough, Corby, Kettering and East) supporting the team with a backlog of Inspections.
As an Environmental Health Officer you will:

Inspect/audit and undertake interventions in commercial premises to determine compliance with food safety and health and safety legislation.
Investigate food hygiene and health and safety complaints, infectious or food borne disease, accidents and dangerous occurrences.
Coach, mentor and support compliant businesses.
You may be required to support with other work such as the investigation of complaints.
Key skills required

Full Registration with the EHRB/CIEH
Solid experience carrying out Food Safety Inspections
Strong analytical and decision-making skills,
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability and experience to undertake site inspections in a range of premisesTo be considered or for more information, please apply now
