Job Title: Assistant/Site Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
* Site Management: Assist in overseeing daily site operations, ensuring that all activities align with project specifications, timelines, and health and safety regulations.
* Surveying and Setting Out: Conduct precise site surveys and set out works in accordance with project plans and specifications.
* Quality Control: Monitor the quality of work on-site, ensuring it meets the required standards and promptly addressing any issues.
* Coordination: Collaborate with senior engineers, project managers, and contractors to ensure seamless communication and efficient progress on-site.
* Documentation: Assist in maintaining accurate site records, including daily reports, material usage, and site activities.
* Problem Solving: Support in addressing on-site challenges, providing practical solutions to ensure project continuity.
Key Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
* Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a site engineering role, particularly in highways, infrastructure, or similar projects.
* Technical Skills: Proficient in surveying equipment, AutoCAD, and other relevant engineering tools.
* Soft Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Certifications: Membership in relevant professional bodies (e.g., ICE) is a plus.
