Production Operative – LMC Team Member (Fri-Sun)
Location: Blunham, DS Smith
Rate: £14.49 per hour (paid breaks)
Contract Length: Temp to Perm

Are you an experienced production operative? Do you consider yourself to be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and an asset to a busy team? Are you based in or around Blunham?

We have a Temp to Perm LMC Team Member role available at DS Smith. This role is ideal for someone with machine operating experience and a safety-first approach.

Working Hours:

* Friday to Sunday: 06:30 to 18:30

* 36 hours per week
Company standard working hours are 42 per week. Approved working beyond these hours is considered overtime, paid at x1.5 Monday to Saturday and x2 for Sunday.

Responsibilities:

* Operate machinery safely and efficiently.

* Ensure productivity and performance targets are met.

* Maintain consistent quality standards.

* Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as per schedule.

* Support improvement initiatives as needed.

Essential requirements:

* Safety-focused with a positive, enthusiastic attitude.

* Good communication skills (both verbal and written).

* Team player, quality-conscious, and adaptable to multi-skilled working.

Preferred requirements:

* Experience in production or machine operation.
