About the Schools:

We are partnering with a number of schools across Eastbourne and the surrounding areas, all of which are committed to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. As a General Cover Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in diverse school settings, ensuring that students’ learning continues smoothly in the absence of their regular teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide cover teaching across various schools, ensuring minimal disruption to students’ education when their usual teacher is unavailable.
Plan and deliver lessons across different subjects and year groups.
Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students, ensuring every learner has the chance to succeed.
Maintain positive classroom management and create a conducive learning environment.
Monitor student progress and offer constructive feedback and support when needed.
Collaborate with school staff to share resources and contribute to the overall success of the schools.
Assist with pastoral care and participate in extracurricular activities as required.
Qualifications & Experience:

Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to teach a wide range of subjects and year groups.
Strong classroom management skills.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
