Senior Committee Manager

Eden Brown Synergy is delighted to collaborate with a local authority, based in Cambridgeshire who are seeking a Senior Committee Manager for supporting our organisation's governance and constitutional processes.

The role is initially for 6 months, and hybrid working.

* Lead Governance Excellence - Play a key role in decision-making and constitutional guidance.
* Work with Senior Leaders - Advise elected officials and top organisational officers.
* Make an Impact - Ensure transparent and effective democratic processes.

Job Responsibilities :
* Provide expert constitutional advice to organisation members and senior staff.
* Oversee committee procedures and ensure compliance with governance protocols.
* Manage and improve decision-making processes.
* Deliver training to members on democratic procedures.

Essential Skills :
* Expertise in Democratic & Committee Services with a strong understanding of governance.
* Experience working with elected members & senior officers in a complex organisation.
* Strong communication & leadership skills to influence key stakeholders.
* Knowledge of Civica Modern.Gov or similar committee management systems.
* Degree-level qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
