Are you an experienced Deputy Manager ready to take the next step, or an established Children's Home Manager looking for an exciting new challenge? We are opening a brand-new children's home in Oldham and seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to lead our team.
About the Role:
As the Children’s Home Manager, you will play a key role in setting up and managing a brand-new residential home for children and young people. You will ensure the home operates to the highest standards, providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment.
In the next six months, additional children’s homes will be opening, offering an excellent opportunity for career progression into a Dual Manager role.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the setup and successful opening of the new home.

Ensure the home meets Ofsted regulations and provides outstanding care.
*
Recruit, train, and develop a strong staff team.
*
Promote a positive and therapeutic environment for children and young people.
*
Manage budgets, policies, and procedures to maintain operational efficiency.
*
Work closely with external agencies, social workers, and stakeholders.
Requirements:
*
Experience as a Children’s Home Manager or Deputy Manager with extensive leadership experience.
*
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).
*
Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and children’s residential care standards.
*
Passion for improving the lives of children and young people.
*
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
