Bookkeeper | Bishops Castle | Permanent | 4/5 Days a Week | Hybrid | £26,000 - £30,000

Seymour John is exclusively partnering with a well-loved local business in Bishops Castle to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a family-run company and play a key role in supporting the accounts function. The role involves assisting multiple clients with their accounts and managing various responsibilities simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage daily accounts activities, ensuring timely completion.

* Prepare accounts and VAT returns.

* Communicate effectively with customers.

Who We’re Looking For:

* Must have AAT Level 4 qualification.

* Proven bookkeeping experience, ideally from a practice or a standalone bookkeeping role.

* Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.

* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

* Basic Excel skills and experience with Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.

* Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team.

* Strong numeracy skills.
