About the Role:
Supply Desk is seeking a skilled and motivated Year 6 Teacher to work with a reputable primary school in High Wycombe. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated teacher to support students through a pivotal academic year, preparing them for their transition to secondary school. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and be passionate about helping students achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Year 6 curriculum, ensuring all students are well-prepared for SATs.
Use a variety of teaching methods to support different learning styles and abilities, ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed.
Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes students’ confidence and engagement.
Work closely with other staff members to support students’ learning and contribute to the school’s goals.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching Year 6.
A strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and SATs preparation.
Excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of behavior.
Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to teaching.
