Our Huntingdon based client are seeking a skilled and experienced Tool Maker to join their Engineering/Workshop team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in toolmaking in a workshop environment and a keen eye for detail.

Main Responsibilities

Manufacture and maintain a variety of tools used in production

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand requirements and improve tooling processes.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing tools to minimize downtime.

Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.

Due to the nature of this role, there will be a certain amount of heavy lifting involved.

Skills / Experience

Proficient in using CNC equipment and also manual lathes, mills, and other tool-making equipment.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication and leadership skills.

Hours & Pay

08:00 until 16:00 / Monday to Friday

£13.50/£15.00 per hour
