Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fire and Security Small Works & Reactive Engineer to join the VOCA Fire Protection (VFP) reactive a d small works team. This role will be supporting a variety of disciplines that directly supporting our clients as part of our service and maintenance contracts. Type of contracts will include pharmacy chain, cinema groups, care homes and residential properties.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, approachable, and capable of working effectively as part of a team. To be successful in this role you must be able welcome opportunities to work with innovative systems and products, demonstrate expertise across multiple disciplines, and maintain high standards in all aspects of their work. The successful candidate must be capable of fault finding and be able to work under pressure to ensure that deadlines are achieved. Being in a position of responsibility and privilege, you must be trustworthy and honest in your conduct and provide excellent quality when installing fire and security systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure works are carried to high standard.
* Respectful and friendly with other team members and clients
* Communicate daily with the service team
* Carry process of elimination and other fault-finding activities
* Carry out routine maintenance visits
* Undertake small works and finish to high standard
* Basic commissioning
* Complete detailed job reports
* Assist other team members when required
* Identify company improvements voice your opinion

Location:
Scotland occasionally you may be asked to travel further distance, and overnight stays are possibility however this is very limited and is down to the engineer’s discretion.
Working hours:
Working hours are flexible due to the nature of the business, the candidate will be expected meet clients and scheduling requests.

Qualifications required:
Fire Alarm experience min 3 years
Security experience min 1 year
Salary:
£36,000 plus overtime
