Social Value Portal is the UK’s leading platform for measuring and reporting social value, helping organisations in the public, private, and voluntary sectors make a lasting difference. As an Account Manager, you’ll work closely with our Strategic Account Directors, managing key client relationships, driving renewals, and identifying opportunities for growth. You’ll also collaborate across teams to deliver exceptional service and impactful solutions.
What You’ll Do
Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders across public and private sectors.
Growth and Retention: Proactively manage renewals and upsells, ensuring client satisfaction while identifying opportunities to expand our footprint.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate on account plans to drive retention and recovery strategies for at-risk accounts.
Problem Solving: Act as the primary point of contact, addressing client concerns and identifying solutions tailored to their needs.
Collaborative Engagement: Work closely with internal teams, including Sales, Customer Success, and Product, to ensure smooth delivery and support.
Data-Driven Insights: Monitor client satisfaction, track account metrics, and report on progress to support decision-making.
Outreach and New Business: Assist with prospecting and securing new business opportunities, including conducting outreach and follow-ups.
What You’ll Bring
Proven experience in account management or a similar client-facing role, ideally in B2B environments.
Demonstratable experience in a SaaS, technology or professional services environment.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
A proactive, goal-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce) and the ability to use data effectively.
Exposure to Social Value, ESG, or CSR is an advantage but not essential.
What We Offer
A base salary of £40,000–£55,000, with OTE earnings of an additional £20,000–£27,500.
