The opportunity
Our client is currently seeking an experienced OLE CAD Technician to join their team in Speke, Liverpool. This role involves supporting the production of design works through the development of CAD models and the management of drawings within rail infrastructure projects.

Location: Speke, Liverpool (Full-Time, On-Site)
Contract Duration:3 - 6 months (Ongoing)
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate (Ltd Company status)

You duties and responsibilities will be
Develop and manage 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings using Bentley MicroStation V8i for both conceptual design and visual purposes.
Assist engineers in the development, review, and acceptance of designs, ensuring adherence to project specifications and industry standards.
Maintain and organise systems for existing and new data files and records in a structured manner.
Prepare CAD quality reports and other technical documentation as required.
Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure seamless project delivery.You will have the following qualifications and experience 
Proven experience in 2D and 3D drafting within Bentley MicroStation V8i.
Knowledge of BIM requirements is essential.
Ability to perform CAD quality assurance and reporting.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Proficiency in MicroStation is essential.
Experience with ProjectWise is required.
Solid evaluation and decision-making abilities.
Understanding of the life cycle stages of rail infrastructure projects.It's great if you also have the following 
Experience with relevant engineering disciplines.
Familiarity with Bentley Rail Track modelling.
Knowledge of OS Digital Mapping formats.
