Immediate 10 month contract
Salary: £250 - £400 dependant on experience.
We’re recruiting a Site Manager to join a bespoke residential developer, who take’s pride in delivering exceptional, high-quality projects with an emphasis on craftsmanship, heritage, and excellence. They are seeking a highly skilled Site Manager to lead a prestigious renovation of a Grade II listed building in the beautiful Cotswolds. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a Site Manager to manage the transformation of a historic property into a luxurious, bespoke residence, ensuring the highest standards of quality and care are met every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and Oversee Site Operations: Ensure the project stays on schedule, within budget, and meets the highest standards of craftsmanship.
Manage Subcontractors and Specialist Trades: Coordinate teams and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow and successful project delivery.
Problem Solving & Project Momentum: Tackle any construction challenges efficiently to maintain the project’s progress.
Client Relationship Management: Communicate with the client regularly, providing updates and offering effective solutions to any project concerns.
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all health and safety regulations (CDM, SMSTS, CSCS).
Budget Control: Work closely with the commercial team to manage budgets and costs effectively.
Material Sourcing & Procurement: Utilize your knowledge of the local supply What they’re looking for.
Extensive Experience in Heritage Renovation: A proven track record in managing Grade II listed and other heritage renovation projects, with a focus on high-end refurbishments.
Leadership Skills: Strong management skills with the ability to lead teams, solve problems, and maintain client relationships.
Expert Knowledge of Traditional Building Techniques: Experience with listed building compliance, conservation methods, and luxury finishes.
Local Knowledge: A strong understanding of local suppliers, material procurement, and cost-effective sourcing.
