Relief Pharmacist – Independent Family-Owned Pharmacy Group

We are a family-run independent pharmacy group with a commitment to providing personalised, high-quality care to our local communities. We’re looking for a dedicated, reliable Relief Pharmacist to join our team, providing cover at 3 locations.

Role: Relief Pharmacist

Location: Corsham (SN13), Westbury (BA13), and Hanham (BS15)

Hours: Approx. 37.5 hours per week (with the potential to work additional hours during holiday cover) which takes it to 45hrs for holiday cover weeks

Salary: £27 per hour PAYE or £30 per hour self employed option

4 days week 1- and 4.5-days week 2

Key Responsibilities:

Corsham (SN13): 2 days a week, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (including alternate Saturdays, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM)

Westbury (BA13): 1 day a week, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Hanham (BS15): 1 day a week, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Provide excellent customer service and professional advice to patients and customers

Ensure the safe and efficient dispensing of prescriptions

Supervise pharmacy assistants and ensure smooth operation of the pharmacy

Adhere to all regulatory requirements and professional standards

Deliver healthcare services such as flu vaccinations and health checks as required

Additional Hours:

When store managers are on holiday, there is the opportunity to work additional hours, up to 45 hours a week (for approximately 20 weeks of the year).

What We’re Looking For:

A qualified pharmacist with excellent communication skills and a passion for patient care (Newly qualified considered)

Ability to work efficiently and effectively across multiple locations

Must be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle, as you will be required to travel between sites

A proactive, team-oriented individual who takes initiative in a fast-paced environment

A friendly, approachable attitude with the ability to build strong relationships with patients and colleagues

What We Offer:

Competitive hourly rate of £27 per hour PAYE or £30 self employed
