NEC/Project Planner - Pharmaceutical - Northumberland – Contract - £25 - £35 per hour
Our client is looking for a NEC Planner to plan projects relating to the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare sectors. Our client is a specialist in the development of refurbishment and new build of laboratories and clean rooms.
This is to operate on an ever-expanding pharmaceutical site that has just been given the green light on further project works. This will be a desk role, speaking to management and team members and plugging in resource planning. You will also be involved in team meetings where you will be asked to present back to team members where they are in comparison to the programme and highlight issues so to keep the project timeline on track.
Your duties will include the following:
* Effectively work with Stakeholders, Clients, Contractors and Sub Contractors on a daily basis.
* Ensure that schedule related data from vendors, suppliers, engineering and construction contractors of actual projects is provided as feedback into the planning and scheduling systems.
* Implement Project Planning & Scheduling strategy, plans and procedures, reflecting both Company and contractor roles, responsibilities and expectations.
* Actively work with project managers, construction firms and subcontractor firms as necessary to maintain schedule integrity.
* Provide interface and quality assurance to Project functional groups and contractors regarding the tracking and reporting of schedule performance.
* Ability to coordinate & organize multiple sources of schedule inputs/performance data into a master schedule platform and deliver project/program status reports as required.
* Prepare and update progress reports as required by the client, including the Integrated Planning / Scheduling contribution to the monthly project report and specific reports / presentations.
You will need to have the following experience:
* Experinced using Asta or Microsoft Projects.
* Experience working on NEC4 contracts
* Previous experience of GMP or Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences Projects is advantageous.
* Demonstrable knowledge of from behind the desk managing of the plan
