Description
The Accounts Payable Clerk will;
Process and verify invoices in an accurate and timely manner
Reconcile supplier statements and handle payment discrepancies
Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
Maintain the vendor file system and respond to vendor queries
Assist in month-end reporting procedures
Work closely with the finance team to ensure smooth operation of all finance mattersProfile
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
A strong understanding of accounting principles
Experience processing high volume invoices, 100 + per day
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software
Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
An AAT qualification or equivalent is desirableJob Offer
The Accounts Payable Clerk will be offered;
An estimated hourly wage £13 per hour (including holiday pay)
Temporary to permanent
Fully office based
