Working with the Operations team to ensure all houses are filled, transferred and emptied as per KPI’s
• Train new members of the team on disease control and elimination
• Attend daily farm walks with other departments.
• Attending weekly planning meetings with the Growing consultant
• Ensuing that all growing operations are completed on time.
• Working with your team to achieve the best yield potential.
• Implement climate control and fertigation strategies.
• All crop husbandry work.
• Crop walking and scouting for pests and diseases.
• Enforcing & promoting excellent health & safety practice
• Ensure all completed work is safe and hygienic and complies with FSA and health and safety legislation
• To ensure GMP (good manufacturing practices) and housekeeping (clean as you go) are strictly adhered to.
• Drive own personal development through training and work-based experience.
• Help harvesting supervisors during busy times.
• Report on KPI figures during monthly meetings.
• Any other duties that may be required

Qualifications Required
• Previous experience as a Grower working in a growing environment.
• Previous experience as a Grower working in a chilled, fast paced FMCG environment.
• BRC experience.
• Experience with retailers audit protocol.
• A sound knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation
