Tara are excited to be supporting a partnering school situated North of Shrewsbury, in recruiting a Music Specialist to join their large and talented department.
The school is renowned for it’s Music, Drama and Sports, with specialist centres and full performance facilities!
Located in an attractive and pleasant market town, the community school is made up of two campus, to cater for GCSE and A Level Pupils. Pupils can enjoy a historic yet modern learning environment in its old grammar school buildings. It also has a thriving boarding house welcoming international students and others from across the UK.

Key Responsibilities for Teacher of Music:
* Plan, prepare and deliver exciting Music lessons.
* Develop schemes of work and lesson plans that are in accordance with the curriculum
* Provide a supportive and positive learning environment for all students.
* Identify and select different instructional resources and methods to meet students' varying needs.
* Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching practices and support student success.
Requirements and Qualifications for Teacher of Music:
* Bachelor's degree in Music, Education, or a related field (PGCE or QTS preferred).
* Proven experience teaching Music at the secondary level. preferably in a similar educational setting
* Strong knowledge of the curriculum.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
* Dedication to promoting a positive learning environment and supporting the holistic development of students.
* Commitment to upholding the school's values and ethos.
