Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
Location: Milton Keynes
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full-time.
Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am - 4.30pm and Friday 8am - 3.15pm.

The role…

Responsible for supporting the inspection function of the department, carrying out 'first off' and final inspections

As the Quality Inspector, your role will involve the following important duties:

Accurate and appropriate measurement of product features to determine conformance/non-conformance to drawing/model.
Adheres to the requirements of the company Health and Safety Policies and Quality Management System.
To liaise with shop floor on local product Quality issues & systems to support delivery of conforming product.
Ensure no product non-conformity escapes to customers
Conducting inspection processes to meet Customer & internal requirements
Conducting measurements of products / tooling and fixtures as required
Reporting measurement outputs included for FAIR and improvement activities
Calibration of measurement devices traceable to national standards
The experience required…

As a successful Quality Inspector, you will have the following:

Experience of using manual inspection equipment
Knowledge of CMM
Read, understand, interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Working knowledge of ISO9001 / AS9100
Basic computer skills
