Surface Mount Operator

Up to £32,000 (Includes shift premium)

Surface Mount Operator required by leading manufacturing company, based in Windsor. The successful Surface Mount Operator will be responsible for setting up, loading and running a surface mount placement machine to produce surface mount PCBs. This role will be working on the late shift.

Main Duties: - Surface Mount Operator

Kitting of surface mount machines.
Loading electronic components on to feeders.
Setting up of the machine.
Hand placement of through hole and surface mount components when required.
Working closely with the engineering team.
Rectifying machine errors.
Inspection of boards, using a magnifier, highlighting any quality issues.
Completion of assembly documentation.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following. Surface Mount Operator

IPC certified or equivalent.
Proficient with through hole and surface mount assembly.
Previous experience of operating a surface mount machine.
The ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Electronic component recognition.
Able to work on own initiative.
