CNC Vertical Borer – Manufacturing & Engineering (Day & Afternoon Shifts Available) – Greater Manchester – Up to £24.65 per hour
 
About the company
 
My client is a long-established engineering company, operating from a single seven-acre site in Greater Manchester. The company manufactures medium to heavy engineered components for the Mining, Oil & Gas and Power Generation industries, and specialises in large capacity CNC machining of components up to 13m in length and 35 Tons in weight.
 
The successful candidate must be available to work either day or afternoon shifts.
 
Day Shift (39 Hours) Up to £19.73 / Hour

Monday to Thursday 6:45am – 3:15pm
Friday 6:45am – 2:15pm  Afternoon Shift (36 Hours) Up to £24.65 / Hour

Monday to Thursday 3:00pm – 12:00am CNC Vertical Borer - The Rewards

Competitive salary
Day Shift - 33 Days holiday (including 8 statutory)
Afternoon Shift - 28 Days holiday (including 8 statutory)

Immediate start available CNC Vertical Borer - Requirements & Responsibilities

Must be apprentice trained /fully skilled and be able to program, set and operate medium to large capacity CNC lathes/Vertical borers (over 2.5 metre swing and components up to 10 tonnes) using Fanuc Controls.
Able to write new programs from technical drawings and edit existing programs.
Experience of canned cycles on Fanuc control is essential.
Knowledge of modern tooling and methods and be able to work with minimum supervision.
Experience of Centre Lathe Turning (DSG machines) including screw cutting, taper turning and using 4 jaw chucks and copy turning attachments will also be an advantage to the successful applicant. About Us
