Description

Identifying potential suppliers and conducting evaluations to assess their capabilities.
Conducting regular supplier audits to ensure compliance with company standards.
Addressing and resolving any supplier-related issues or discrepancies.
Reporting on supplier performance metrics to management.
Assess risk to Supply Chain, maintaining contingency plans for critical suppliersProfile

A successful Supplier Development Engineer should have:

A degree in Engineering/other relevant subject
Knowledge of the industrial/manufacturing sector and its supply chain processes.
Proficiency in supplier evaluation and development techniques.
Proven experience in problem solving/root cause analysis (Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing)
Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Job Offer
