Liberty Recruitment Group are delighted to be exclusively partnering with our fantastic client, in the search for a Accounts Payable Manager, to join their finance team based in Northampton. This is a hybrid role and you would be joining the business at a really exciting time.
Reporting into a knowledgeable and approachable Finance Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate processing of invoices and managing payment processes.
Some of your duties will include:
Overseeing the timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices
Supervising and leading the Accounts Payable team
Resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
Implementing best practices and system enhancements
Building and maintaining positive relationships with vendors
Training and development of team members
Staying informed about changes to accounting regulations
The ideal candidate will come with Management experience in an Accounts department, and you will have a good working knowledge of Outlook and Excel. Sage experience is desirable as well as studying towards an AAT, CIMA or ACCA qualification.
As an individual, you will be a strong and effective communicator, have strong attention to detail, be enthusiastic, and be able to remain calm under pressure.
