My client is looking for a number of Electricians and Improvers for a contract at Manchester Airport starting in September.

Scope – Electrical installation works on Pier 2.

Installation of cable containment systems & supports– Cable Basket, Channel Supports, Conduits, Ladder & Tray.
Mounting of free issue equipment – Distribution Boards, Lighting & Control.
Installation of equipment – Isolators, Sockets & Lighting Accessories.
Cable Installation & Termination – SWA,Singles,FP200 etc
Test & Inspection .

Electrician (including approved)
Rates

Standard time (First 50 Hours - Mon – Fri) - £25.50 + walking time (40 minutes a day @ standard rate)
Saturday - £30.50 + walking time (40 minutes a day @ standard rate)
Sunday - £35.00 + walking time (40 minutes a day @ standard rate)

Electrical Improver
Rates

Standard time (First 50 Hours - Mon – Fri) - £19.00 + walking time (40 minutes a day @ standard rate)
Saturday - £22.11 + walking time (40 minutes a day @ standard rate)
Sunday - £24.15 + walking time (40 minutes a day @ standard rate)

Due to the commute from the car park to Pier 2, we are paying 40 minutes’ walk time per day, so that’s 0.67 numerical hour, its reviewed monthly as a bus service is due in the future. The walk time does not form part of the first 50 hours.
