Job Title: Section Engineer - Structures & Cut & Cover
Location: Wendover, Buckinghamshire

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Section Engineer to join our Structures team, focusing on cut & cover construction and reinforced concrete (RC) works. This role involves managing junior engineers and supporting the Sub Agent in overseeing structural construction activities. You will be responsible for ensuring site operations are executed efficiently, safely, and in line with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise the site engineering team from construction to project close-out.
Manage site setting-out activities and oversee the performance and development of Site Engineers.
Assist with temporary works design schemes and provide technical solutions to site challenges.
Allocate labour, plant, and materials in coordination with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman.
Monitor and coordinate subcontractors to ensure work is completed to contractual and quality standards.
Ensure the engineering team has the latest designs, resources, and project information.
Assist with producing programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans, and contribute to financial forecasting.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

HNC/Degree in Construction or Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
Working towards professional membership (e.g., ICE).
Proven site engineering experience with construction supervision skills.
Experience in structures, cut & cover construction, reinforced concrete (RC) works, utilities, earthworks, or drainage.
Full UK driving licence and own transport (site locations may be remote).

Essential Certifications:

SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
CSCS (White, White-Yellow, Red - Experienced, Black - Manager, or Gold - Supervisor).This is a great opportunity for a skilled Section Engineer to contribute to a major infrastructure project, focusing on structural engineering and reinforced concrete construction
