Intro

Cedar is currently partnered with a rapidly growing engineering and construction business to support with the recruitment of an Interim Financial Accountant based in North London. This is a 6-month contract role, offering £350 - £375 per day (Umbrella), and is 100% office-based.

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, your duties as Interim Financial Accountant will include:

Supporting the year-end close process.
Performing balance sheet reconciliations.
Leading the audit process and acting as the primary point of contact for external auditors.
Providing support to management accounts and the budgeting process.

Your Profile

You will ideally have:

A formal accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA/CIMA/CA).
Trained in audit practice or hold previous experience of supporting year-end audit processes.
The rate of £350 - £375 per day represents a fair value, or logical increase on your previous salary or day rate.
Availability to start immediately or at short notice.
