Quality Control Operative

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.25 per hour
Expected Hours: 40 per week (Monday to Friday, with the possibility of some Saturdays)
Standard Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (with potential to stay until the end of production, up to a maximum of 12 hours per shift)

Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and driven Quality Control Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our products meet the high standards that our customers expect. Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct hourly checks and inspections on raw materials, intermediate products, and finished products.

* Perform label checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.

* Monitor and record air temperatures throughout production processes.

* Calibrate scales and probes to ensure accurate measurements.

* Collect samples for laboratory analysis as needed.

* Conduct equine testing.

* Perform various low-level audits, such as black bag audits, with tasks subject to change based on business needs.

Qualifications and Skills:

* Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.

* Basic HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) knowledge.

* Basic PC skills.

* Health & Safety Awareness.

* Any additional relevant training would be advantageous.
