Production Planner

* Mostly remote working with flexibility around hours.

* The office is based in Bracknell where there will be an expectation to visit the site on a quarterly basis.

* Work for a growing, international manufacturing business that have invested significantly across production.

An ambitious engineering business are currently recruiting for a Production Planner to help ensure projects are being scheduled and delivered to customer specifications. This role does require a strong communicator as you will be responsible for direct customer communication alongside the planning / scheduling of materials and projects. This is a real varied, fast paced position that offers progression scope in the future.

Salary & Package: £30,000 as a guide. Remote working. 25 days holiday + banks. 5% Pension.

This Production Planner job will suit:

* An organised Production Planner who is happy working within a varied position – using ERP system, Excel, supporting Customers from order through to delivery.

* Experience using an ERP or MRP System / Good Excel skills.

* Prior experience working within a precision engineering environment would be an advantage.

* Someone who enjoys autonomy and working within a remote environment.

The Production Planner job’s working environment, opportunities and rewards:

The Production Planner job will involve:

* Understand and analyse customer requirements in order to provide excellent customer service levels.

* Ensure an accurate and quick turnaround of entering sales orders within an ERP system, issuing sales order confirmations and management of shipments to customers.

* Efficient management of inbound/outbound logistics support to ensure both customer requirements and On Time Delivery (OTD) targets are met

* Manage accurate and timely inventory forecast and demand plans for nominated accounts and suppliers.

* Manage accurate creation and distribution of purchase orders to suppliers.

* Support the management of inventory levels within pre-defined financial and physical constraints.
