Summary of position

As a Registered Branch Manager, you will be leading our Domiciliary Services in the area. You will efficiently manage the day-to-day running of the business. Allocate resources, monitor performance and train the team to deliver high quality homecare to our customers. Managing all aspects of the Domiciliary team and provide sound leadership to ensure staff are clear about their respective duties and responsibilities and have the support they need to carry out their roles safely.

Primary Responsibilities

People Management

Ensure implementation of Platinum Care Solutions Group complaints procedure and handle complaints effectively against the policy.

Recruit, train and retain carers.

Provide information, guidance and ongoing supervision to enable staff to effectively and safely carry out their roles. Carry out supervisions, appraisals and monitoring of staff performance

Have responsibility for leading the monthly carer meeting.

Have responsibility for all domiciliary staff, to plan, allocate and evaluate the workload of all staff.

Undertake and ensure training needs of all staff are met effectively – identify and provide for on-going training needs.

Cover Out of Hours Service on a Rota Basis.

Ensure all emergency on-call issues are dealt with effectively, such as covering calls either directly or indirectly when care workers are sick or absent.

Compliance

Be responsible for the safe delivery of the service in line with legislative requirements and company policy and procedures; comply with all CQC regulations.

Maintain full and accurate records and reporting systems in accordance with legal requirements and ensure the effective running of the business.

Attend all Provider forums as requested by Authorities.

Ensure compliance with GDPR.

Ensure all Safeguarding/Protection requirements are adhered to and met.

Maintain effective assessment and review procedures.

Write reports and maintain all monitoring systems.

Ensure all Branch Health and Safety requirements are adhered to and met.

Business Growth

Build the hours of care delivered from your branch in line with or exceeding the budget.

Achieve or exceed the profit target of your branch by exceeding revenue targets and minimising costs of your branch.

Maintain all contractual agreements with LA’s/CCG.

Actively participate in the growth and development of the business

Ensure engagement with your team to successfully deliver a new campaign that grows our customer base.

Play a lead role in the development of good community care practices and procedures in relation to homecare services.

Work closely with other agencies involved with the customer to ensure the provision of integrated services.

Responsible for Branch P&L.

Ensure all KPI’s are met.

Competencies

QCF5/RMA in Management in care

Excellent verbal/written communication skills

Budgetary and administrative skills

Proficient under pressure and focused on deadlines

Demonstrate professional relationships with GP’s, Social Workers and HCP’s

Experience of leading or managing care and support environments

Good working knowledge of the ‘KLOE’ standards and other relevant legislation

Evidence of continuous professional development

Good working knowledge of Domiciliary Care Regulations relating to the service

Proven administrative skills and computer literacy. Must be competent with Office 365 Suite

Demonstrative knowledge, understanding and formatting of support plans

Previous Management experience within a Domiciliary Care or Home Care Sector
