A fast-paced Secondary school in the borough of Slough is looking for a Graduate who holds a Maths related degree to join their maths team ASAP as their Teaching Assistant.

This is a great opportunity to gain paid school experience in a secondary school environment within their Maths department.

Working as a Teaching Assistant within Maths classes is an excellent way to get paid school experience. This role is ideal for a graduate who is looking to gain valuable school experience ahead of teacher training.

As a Maths teaching assistant, you will get the opportunity to work with students of various abilities. You will be working alongside experienced Maths specialist teachers and will get the opportunity to observe different teaching styles and techniques.

This teaching assistant role is available on a full-time basis 5 days per week to start September 2024 until the end of the year. This role would suit a graduate with a Maths related degree who has some form of tutoring or Classroom supporting young people and a desire to develop their existing experience in a school setting. A number of graduates who have worked at the school during this academic year have been successful when applying for teacher training.

High level Maths degree
Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
Legal right to work in the UK
