Job Description:

We have been engaged by a reputable and long-standing national contractor who, due to a period of sustained growth, have a requirement for an additional QUANTITY SURVEYOR to join their team on a permanent basis.

The business typically delivers steel framed building projects.

Responsibilities:

* Manage month end applications, invoicing & valuations within agreed timescales.

* Identify variations communicate to clients and obtain cost approval.

* Manage client contractual requirements within contract documents.

* Produce P&L reports for all projects.

* Attending site for internal/external meetings including site measures

Essential Criteria:

* Degree Qualified QUANTITY SURVEYOR (minimum 2 years post qualification experience)

* Specialist sub-contracting experience desirable

* NEC3/4 Contract understanding and use.

* Ability to review and negotiate contract terms and conditions.

* Contract / project management ability.

* Commercial acumen, pre and post contract

* Change control management.

* Project cost value reconciliation, risk management

* Knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word

* Good communication skills and the ability to work well with both internal and external stakeholders.

* Full UK Drivers Licence
