Junior Buyer - £24k - £28k
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Junior Buyer to join our client's growing buying team in Crawley. You will be responsible for managing outstanding purchase orders to ensure the delivery of goods in line with customer expectations and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities for the Junior Buyer:
Liaise directly with customer service and the warehouse to confirm the delivery of goods and update system information accordingly
Accurately record all communications with suppliers into the system
Amend the current system to reflect product and supplier information and inventory level changes where appropriate
Liaise with customer service and the warehouse regarding delays that will impact customer orders
Raise, track, and manage purchase orders
Investigate slow or missing orders
Investigate purchase order, invoice, or delivery issues
Carry out stock checks as required
Manage sample requests
Book in stock in the absence of the Purchasing Administrator
Support the development of team KPIs and strategies to aid purchasing performance
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Requirements:
Strong IT skills with proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
A positive attitude with the ability to deliver excellent customer experience and satisfaction
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and with other teams throughout the business
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient planning and organisational skills with a methodical and logical approach
Experience of ensuring quality standards are maintained
Salary:
£25k - £28k depending on experience
