Salary: £42,999 - £63,168

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Production Team Leader on behalf of one of our clients.

Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities:   

Manage day to day objectives for the site to include operational output, logistics, long term operational and maintenance needs, statutory compliance, resource planning and cost control measures.
Identify and achieve key indicators of success, establishing improvement plans and targets for the shift team.
Manage and be fully accountable for the core requirements of the SHE management system.
Ensure shift teams are competent both technically and behaviourally and that adequate support is available, organised and supervised where necessary.
Provide strong management giving precise delegation and responsibility where needed.
Motivate and enthuse all members of the shift team to contribute to a purposeful environment.
Ensure full implementation and continued improvement of the computerised maintenance management system (CMMS).
Skills and Qualifications:  

The successful candidate will be a competent CMMS user with a high level of technical and operational plant awareness.
Ideally you will have a ‘time served’ apprenticeship, a management qualification equivalent to level 3 or above.
IOSH Managing Safety or above.
Minimum of 5 years power generation/utility experience.
You will be able to demonstrate excellent leadership, communication and IT skills.
