Accounting Manager (IFRS 16)

Contract - 3 Months initially

We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager (IFRS 16) to join our Financial Accounting team responsible for IFRS 16 reporting, focusing on the shared network . You will manage external service providers for accuracy and completeness, implementing initiatives to enhance reporting processes.

You will lead IFRS 16 reporting, collaborate with suppliers for accuracy. Review, challenge, and reconcile monthly reports, ensuring consistency with the GL. Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners . Own IFRS 16 reporting, interact with senior management regularly.

Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager (IFRS 16) include:

Centralized view of IFRS 16 results, pre-IFRS 16 results, and impact assessment.
Support Finance Business Partners in interpreting outputs and providing accurate information.
Reconcile General Ledger to outputs, taking ownership of monthly IFRS 16 reporting.
Provide required information to Financial Reporting team for various reports.
Coordinate forecasting, budgeting with supplier, FP&A, and FBPs.
Complete CAS (Group Reporting) forms, quarterly submission to Group via Financial Reporting team.
Manage audit deliverables, requests, and queries related to IFRS 16

The successful Accounting Manager (IFRS 16) will have:

Qualified ACA, 3+ years PQE, preferably audit background.
Working knowledge of IFRS 16, strong technical accounting skills.
Experience managing external and internal stakeholders.
Intermediate Excel skills, month-end reconciliation experience.
Exposure to external auditors, analytical with attention to detail.
