Quality and Technical Manager (Textiles/Coating)

As the Quality & Technical Manager you’ll oversee the production, quality and R&D.

About the role

* As the Quality & Technical Manager, you’ll take on a stand alone role with focus on quality, technical and R&D.

* You’ll oversee all quality control processes to ensure products meet specifications

* Maintain and develop quality management systems, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations

* Carry-out root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues

* Oversee lab testing of raw materials, coatings and finished textile products

* Develop and refine testing methods to improve efficiency

* Analyse samples and provide data to assist with accurate costings

* Maintain and update COSHH data for all incoming raw materials

* Record figures of solvent usage in production and generate reductions scheme figures

* Collaborate with teams to identify improvement processes, reduce waste and drive efficiency

About you

* You’ll have strong experience in textiles, coatings and chemicals

* Be development focused with a strong background in the technicalities and quality of coating/wet processing

* Have an analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills

* Be a methodical thinker with a keen eye for detail and accuracy

* Can manage multiple tasks and prioritise your workload effectively

* Excellent knowledge of industry standards, regulations and testing methods

* Be a fantastic team player, able to collaborate with multiple teams when needed
