The role involves a 6am-6pm continental day shift pattern, ensuring you have a structured yet flexible schedule.

As a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, whether your expertise lies in Electrical or Mechanical disciplines, you will be at the heart of maintaining and optimising production machinery. Your responsibilities will include handling breakdowns and performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM), ensuring the smooth operation of the site. Your ability to take ownership of issues and collaborate with the team will be crucial in minimising downtime and enhancing productivity.

The role of a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer: 

Day to Day maintenance of the site machinery.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and all associated system activity, monitor repair times and mean time between failure and find new methods / procedures to reduce these.
Provide maintenance support to production to ensure efficient performance of all equipment.
Ensure accurate and timely records are entered into the maintenance system relating to all work carried out, root causes and spare parts used.
Adhere to all company SSOW and RA’s for maintenance tasks, completing Dynamic Risk Assessments in adhoc situations.
Make food safety a priority while maintaining the machinery.
Continuous Improvement activities as directed. Qualifications and Skills required for this Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role:

Recognised Engineering qualification, minimum of a level 3 City and Guilds.
Multi-Skilled approach either Mechanical or Electrical Bias
Experience of working with manufacturing machinery
Background preferably in Food Manufacturing or FMCG.
Fault finding on PLC's.
NEBOSH or IOSH is desirable.  The benefits for this Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role:

Basic Salary £45,000 pa
6am - 6pm continental shift pattern
