Empowering learning require several PRU pastoral support assistants to work in the Stockton area. The role is 5 days a week Monday to Friday 8.00 am-16.00 pm and has to be continuity for the needs of the students. To work within the pastoral team to provide support to students in crisis or to work with students to de-escalate. The school provide support to SEMH students.

Hold a level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher

Be responsive, flexible and sensitive to the differing needs of pupils. Including those with SEND needs.

To support students with ASC and SEMH needs

Experience of behaviours that challenge

Must be proactive and have the ability to think on their feet.

Calm approach.

Be able to deescalate situations as they arise- Team team trained would be an asset
Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
