We’re looking for a Commercial Property Manager to join our client, a resident focused community housing trust based in South London. This role is responsible for managing commercial leases, overseeing rent reviews, ensuring compliance, and optimising income generation.
Key Details:
Temporary role for 3 months initially with progression to perm for the right candidate
Hybrid working (3 days office/site-based in SE6, 2 days WFH)
Salary: £47,856 per annum, paid hourly while temping, based on 36 hours per week) Your Role:
Manage a portfolio of commercial properties, including office spaces, retail units, and telecoms sites.
Oversee lease agreements, ensuring compliance with property laws and internal policies.
Negotiate and manage rent reviews, working with surveyors for property valuations.
Lead on commercial property lettings, ensuring minimum void periods and maximising income.
Manage and instruct legal services, providing expert advice on commercial property matters.
Conduct site inspections, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Liaise with key stakeholders, including tenants, legal teams, and local authorities.What We’re Looking For:
Experience in commercial property management, particularly lease agreements and rent reviews.
Knowledge of telecoms leases and commercial letting processes.
TPI qualification (MTPI) preferred.
Strong financial management and negotiation skills.
Ability to self-manage workload, working proactively and seeking support when needed.
