Job Title: Family Safeguarding Consultant Social Worker
Location: West (Apsley) & East (Stevenage), Hertfordshire County Council
Position: Full-time, Permanent

Are you a dedicated social worker looking for a new challenge? Hertfordshire County Council is seeking dynamic and proactive Family Safeguarding Consultant Social Workers to join our teams in West (Apsley) and East (Stevenage).

As a Consultant Social Worker, you will have a key role in shaping the future of vulnerable children and families by delivering high-quality, specialist social work within the Family Safeguarding framework.

What you'll do:

Provide expert guidance and social work interventions to support the safety and well-being of children and families.
Lead on assessments, develop comprehensive care plans, and implement tailored interventions.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to offer holistic family support.
Use your advanced social work skills to continuously improve service delivery and outcomes.
Engage in reflective practice, offering insight and expertise to support team development.

What you'll need:

Full UK driving licence.
At least 1 year of post-qualification experience in social work.
Successful completion of the ASYE programme, demonstrating a strong foundation for practice.
