We’re on the lookout for a Maintenance Engineer to join a rapidly expanding, eco-focused manufacturer. This is a hands-on, varied role where you’ll be working with automated machinery, conveyors, and site utilities to keep production running smoothly.

The Role:

Proactive & reactive maintenance on high-speed automated machinery

Fault diagnosis & repair on electrical & mechanical systems

Support installations & commissioning of new equipment

Ensure all plant, machinery, and utilities operate at peak efficiency

Assist with training apprentices & machine setters

Identify areas for continuous improvement—because “that’s how we’ve always done it” isn’t good enough

What You Need:

✔ Electrical & mechanical maintenance experience (FMCG preferred)

✔ NVQ Level 3 / 18th Edition Electrical Qualification (essential)

✔ HNC in Mechanical Engineering (preferred, but not a deal-breaker)

✔ Strong troubleshooting & problem-solving skills—when something breaks, you know how to fix it

✔ Experience with installations & commissioning—not just repairs

✔ The ability to work independently, but also collaborate when needed
