HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / Vehicle Mechanic

Salary: Basic £42000-£43000 plus overtime at enhanced rates

Location: Cheltenham , easily commutable from Evesham , Worcester , Gloucester , Tewkesbury

Exceptionally successful vehicle workshop is seeking an additional HGV Mechanic due to significant additional work requirement. They are either seeking an experienced HGV mechanic or a fully qualified car technician / vehicle mechanic to train.

HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / HGV Fitter role:

You will be required to undertake all levels of maintenance, repairs and major overhauls on a wide range of commercial vehicles as well as completing standard servicing and diagnostics.

Complete straightforward service and maintenance reports.

*

Advise if there are any safety defects or issues which would be of interest to the user.

*

Take part in Industry-leading training provided both in house and with major manufacturers.

Skills/attributes required for the HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / HGV Fitter role:

*

You must be capable of following the repair process from fault analysis to completion.

*

Either be apprentice trained and qualified to City & Guilds/NVQ level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or have relevant hands-on experience.

*

HGV Mechanic

*

Having a C + E (class 1) driving licence is beneficial but not essential.
