Job Title: Qualified Teacher

Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne

Start Date: Immediate Start

Salary: £140 - £200 per day (depending on experience)

TeacherActive are proud to be working with an excellent secondary school based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. We are currently seeking a qualified teacher with a specialism in art.

As a qualified teacher you must be able to deliver a high standard of education to encourage students to engage in their learning and achieve success. The successful qualified teacher will have an artistic flair with the guaranteed opportunity to support Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4 students with their education. It is essential as a qualified teacher that you can confidently manage challenging behaviour whilst providing additional support to students where required.

A successful Qualified Teacher will have:

QTS (or ECT)
Art specialism
Classroom management experience
Behavioural management experience
Clear understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection
