An accredited Power infrastructure company is looking to appoint an experienced SHEQ Advisor to their office in London. The company provides Design & Build along with consultancy services to private networks & DNOs across the Southeast region. As a SHEQ Advisor, you will be a fundamental part of the SHEQ department and be well supported by a team of health and safety professionals across multiple office across the UK
The responsibilities of the SHEQ Advisor:
* Site visits and surveys.
* Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with standards.
* Implement SHEQ plans, policies, and procedures.
* Carry out site inspections.
* Strong understanding of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.
* Defining Quality and compliance procedures.
* Control and update SHEQ / compliance documents and records.
* Agreeing to standards and establishing clearly defined quality methods for staff to implement.
* Ensuring compliance with the applicable standards and legislation.
The requirements of the SHEQ Advisor:
* Civils/Construction or Utilities experience.
* Previous experience in a SHEQ role.
* IOSH and/or NEBOSH Certificate.
* Experience in construction safety and street work activities.
* Proven experience in managing company policies and procedures.
* Knowledge of CDM regulations.
* Computer literate with a strong knowledge of Microsoft word and excel.
* Full UK Drivers Licence.
* Desirable tickets: SMSTS, NRSWA or SHEA Power.
What this offers you
* Hybrid working with site visits up to 2-3 days per week in London.
* A Starting salary ranging from £40,000-£50,000 per annum.
* 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday.
