BSL Level 2 Teaching Assistant - Temp to Perm - Swale

Are you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with BSL Level 2? We are seeking an experienced professional to support students with profound, severe, and complex needs in a specialist school setting.

Role: BSL Level 2 Teaching Assistant
Location: Swale
Pay Rate: £90 per day
Contract: Long-term temp to perm
Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday

About the Role:

Provide tailored support to students with additional communication needs.

Work closely with teachers and therapists to enhance student engagement and learning.

Use BSL to facilitate communication and learning in a specialist school setting.

Support the well-being, safety, and development of students aged 4-19.

About You:

BSL Level 2 qualification (essential).
Experience working with children with SEND, particularly those with communication challenges.
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.Requirements:

Willingness to travel up to an hour to work.
Legal right to work in the UK.
Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs is advantageous.
Ability to provide personal care support, including toileting and feeding, as needed.
Strong communication skills, patience, flexibility, and a positive approach.
Willingness to undergo necessary background checks and obtain clearances.
Hold, or be willing to apply for, an enhanced DBS (child workforce) on the update service.How to Apply:
